Teamwork Makes the Dream Work!

The Bible has 3 major lists concerning Spiritual Gifts. Our natural, Motivational Gifts are found in Romans 12:6-8. The gifts are: Prophecy, Servant, Teacher, Exhortation, Giver, Leader, and Mercy. Everyone is blessed with at least one of these gifts.

1 Cor. 12:7-10 lists the Gifts of the Spirit given by the Spirit of God for His specific purposes and for specific times. These gifts are as follows: The Word of Wisdom, The Word of Knowledge, Faith, Healing, Miracles, Prophecy, Discerning of Spirits, Tongues, and the Interpretation of Tongues. You are not born with these gifts. However, every believer can operate in these gifts as long as they are listening to God, and open to being used by Him.

The "Five-Fold Ministry" is listed in Ephesians 4:11-16. These gifts or "offices" are: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastor/Teacher. The Bible says these function to build up and edify the Church, and to get the people involved in the work of the ministry.

God has given each of us a wonderful ability to fulfill a purpose in the Kingdom of God. It's up to us to find out what that is and be good stewards of what God has given each of us.
