GROUPS THAT SERVE WITHIN F.O.B.
CHURCH MINISTRY TEAMS: There are many opportunities to serve at F.O.B. including Church Ministries, Events, Outreaches, and Special Teams (painting, carpentry, landscaping & special projects). Call Pastor Tom for more information.
EVANGELISM & OUTREACH: Sharing our faith is vital to our spiritual growth. Join our many evangelistic and outreach groups for training and activities that allow you to share your faith in many ways. See the Outreach and Missions section for more details on these groups.
FOCUS MUSIC TEAM PRACTICE: Tuesdays, 7 PM, Youth Sanctuary. Led by Tyler Appel. If you are a young adult and love to worship God by singing or playing instruments, call Tyler for more information and requirements.
FOOD MINISTRY OUTREACH: Help our food ministry team in distributing free food after Sunday services for those in need by helping on Sundays after services and Saturdays, 9:45 PM. Call the church at 957-3333 for more information.
HOSPITALITY TEAM: If you love to serve people, help decorate, and minister to others, come join our team. We serve church ministries in the areas of food, visitor care, special events, etc. Call Janet Brown for more information.
JAIL MINISTRY TEAM: Mondays & Tuesdays, 8 PM, directed by James Paulk. Join the team in ministering in area jails. Call James to get involved.
NURSING HOME MINISTRY: Sunday afternoons, led by Willis & Susie Derstine. Have a heart to minister to others? This is a great place to share your heart with others and make a real impact!
OVERHEAD COMPUTER TEAM: If you have some experience in computers and are interested in helping in services to display worship songs and PowerPoint announcements, call Tony Neese for more information.
PRE-SERVICE PRAYER: Sundays, 9 AM, Hospitality Room. Led by Cindy Vandergouw. Join us in making a strong impact in our services through prayer.
SHORT TERM MISSION TRIP: This is a great opportunity to share your faith and serve others. We will train you, give you opportunities to raise funds for your trip and send you off for a trip that will make a lasting impact on you and those you meet. For more information on short term missions and training call Cindy Vandergouw at the church office.
SMALL GROUP LEADERSHIP: This orientation occurs on a Sunday evening, twice a year. It covers the basics in leading a Small Group with purpose and confidence. A manual is given to all new leaders. Call Pastor Tom for information.
SOUND TEAM: If you have some experience in sound and are interested in helping in services or special events, call Bruce Mast.
SPECIAL EVENTS TEAM: Love to talk on the phone and communicate with others? We need your help! Periodically we need help calling others to communicate event information, etc. Call Chip Pattison to sign up.
SUNDAY MUSIC TEAM PRACTICE: Thursdays, 7 PM in the Sanctuary. Led by Angie Aguilera. If you love to worship God by singing or playing instruments, see Angie about joining (must meet certain criteria).
TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY: If you’d like to help people get rides to church and special events, call the church office to sign up.
USHER & GREETER TEAMS: Sundays, 9:15 AM. If you love to serve people, we’d love to have you on the team! Volunteers serve on a rotation schedule. Call Art Kandel or the office for more information.
VIDEO TEAM: If you have some experience in video recording, duplicating or monitoring and are interested in helping in services or special events, call Rob Graham.
VISITOR CARE TEAM: Call the Church Office at 957-3333 if you can help us make a difference in someone’s life by reaching out to our visitors through phone calls, making gifts, and visitation.
YOUTH MUSIC TEAM PRACTICE: Wednesday, 4:30 PM, Youth Sanctuary. Led by Jordy Christo. If you are a young person and love to worship God by singing or playing instruments, see Pastor David about joining us.
Small Groups generally run 15-16 weeks in the Fall and Spring.
